Opened in May 2020, Apimeds Research Institute is a company specialising in the development of new drugs based on bee venom ingredients related to pain medicine. Apitoxin, the only natural bee venom approved in Korea by MFDS, is a specialty medicine of the first natural new drug at the time of approval and the 6th new drug in Korea. In addition, the Apimeds Research Institute supports analysis services based on quality tests, drug equivalence tests, and stability tests of imported and domestically produced drugs, and performs tasks necessary for approval through quality tests of raw materials and finished drugs.
